Hello everybody!
After fantastic reactions on "Welcome To The Other Side", our "first" album together, we were highly motivated to write new songs. After we already had collected ideas over the year, we met in October 2001 to work out the material. It boilt down to 10 songs plus 2 Bonussongs, that we are recording together with Charlie Bauernfeind in the Blind Guardian Studios near Krefeld. The whole will result in our next CD album "Unity" by the end of May. All the new experiences we made together flew into it and we ended up with a more compact, rough album (compared to it's predecessor). Although we had enough ideas we didn't do a ballade this time to keep the aggressive "to the point"-character of the album. Stilistic experiments we reduct to a minimum, so it's clear what we stand for: high class Metal at it's best! Here's more about the certain songs:

All I Want
Music: Victor Smolski
Lyrics: Peavy Wagner
A perfect song to open up (both - CD or concert) A military snare builts the tension that explodes into a furious guitarriff. After we speeded though it, we break it down for the verse only to get into a hymn like chorus like a steamroller.
The lyrics are about the search for the main things in life...

Insanity
Music & Lyrics: Peavy Wagner
This one is a real speedy with an interesting built up and a hymnlike chorus.
The words are about the daily "normal madness".

Down
Music: Victor Smolski
Lyrics: Peavy Wagner
A real aggressive, rough song, still an earcatcher, with a driving speed and some "tricky" parts for the strings instruments.
A wonderful "hate - text"....

Set This World On Fire
Music: Peavy Wagner / Victor Smolski
Lyrics: Peavy Wagner
A song by me, which was completed by Victor with aggressive rifting and classic solo. Accustic Intro, which changes from a fat, triplet uptempo drumming to a super hymn chorus.
The words fit perfectly to the shit that happened recently. I wrote it in May last year, as if I knew it.

Seven Deadly Sins
Music & Lyrics: Peavy Wagner
Another fat double bass, powerrifting number to sing along. High class Metal as you like it.
The words are about institutionalised religion, abused as a powerinstrument to submit the masses...

You Want It, You'll Get It
Music: Victor Smolski
Lyrics: Peavy Wagner
Full power on all hands and feet, this one. The solo is a short trip into classic, but Mike keeps it all together with his drums. Great melodies...
The title says all about the lyrics.

Living My Dream
Music: Victor Smolski / Mike Terrana
Lyrics: Mike Terrana
Fat like a herd of Bisons it stampedes over your head, into an earcatching chorus. In Intro and Soloriff you find Mike's creative output.
Also new: The words are not from me. Mike wrote about being true to yourself and your dreams, an important topic, that some people should keep in mind!

World Of Pain
Music & Lyrics: Peavy Wagner
A funny and driving riff leads this song on, a real uptempo number, great melodies guaranteed.
"Where does our world go to?" asks the text.

Dies Irae
Music: Victor Smolski
Lyrics: Peavy Wagner / Victor Smolski
A great midtempo groover, that you have to swing along to, including some super riffs and a catching chorus, which was sung by the Whiterussian Operachoir (would have fitted to the "Lingua Mortis" CD).
Victor came with the Latin words in the chorus while I explain the "days of wrath" in the other words...

Unity
Music: Victor Smolski
The titelsong is an instrumental, that's get highlights of all three of us on our certain instruments. Because we wanted to have a good frame for your solo spots in the future concerts, we decided for this song. As it's very rough and aggressive it's not only good for musicians. What was "YYZ" for "Rush" is "Unity" for us.

Darkness Turns To Light
Music & Lyrics: Peavy Wagner
|
 |
Mystery Trip
Music & Lyrics: Peavy Wagner
Both songs are planned to be Bonus songs, we don't know now, what our new record label SPV plans for them. Both are cool midtempo Rockers with great hooklines for riffting and vocals.
That's it for now. Have a good time, see you on our tour in September!
Yours Peavy
