SOUNDCHASER Story
The Origins of life lead back to the Great old ones, an unknown species from out of space, which boarded on our planet, long before evolution started what we describe as our environment. Eventually they used their indescribable knowledge to breed the first life forms, known to us from fossils, millions of years old, possibly to be used as energy source. Soon life developed itself to higher forms, as the great old ones protected it due to the fact that they were absolute peaceful beings. Unfortunately, evolution started to bring up more and more aggressive life forms, so the Great old ones had to find a way to defend themselves against these Carnivores. They created a biomechanical creature they called Soundchaser,as it mainly reacted on acoustical signals. Successfully they secured their survival until the Great old ones decided to give up the planet as location. Remaining Soundchasers were left in huge cave systems under the Antarctic shelf, where they had their main quarters in giant cities. In modern times expeditions explored these places and found the remains. From the original plans Soundchasers were reproduced by a group of archaeologists and music history scientists. In progression they added human genetic material and programmed a deep musical sense in the creature's hard drive, so the reborn Soundchaser gets activated by music. Due to the fact of being a biomechanical hybrid, it has to face death, as it's natural end of existence. They were used to defend the free societies against dictators and terrorists in secret missions. As an half alien being they were kept away from the public eye, so they could only exchange thoughts and feelings among each other. Our story tells about one of the last Soundchaser, which died forgotten and lonely...
