Jens Eggersmann, guitarist of the metalband "uncover", has auctioned the original RAGE backdrop of the "Black In Mind" tour 1995, with the autographs of Peavy, Victor and André, for a considerable sum of money. RAGE, respectively the metal building company Eggersmann, has contibuted half of the money towards the fund "Weisser Ring", who supported crime victims.
On left side you'll see the proud RAGE fan Jens Eggersmann infront of the backdrop, who sent us the following eMail: It was about 1992, when I introduced my ears to Rage. "Trapped"! was the first album which I accidantely got into my hands. That was definately my entry to the whole metalscene, and from that time on, it was fairly quick until I had all the former material from Rage. Some time later, "The missing Link" came out and Rage was THE band for me. Even today "Raw Caress" is one of my all time favorites. For about ten years now I've been on every tour Rage played. Sometimes I joined concerts of the same tour even 2 - 3 times, but in different towns. The shows in Zeche/Bochum are always a special event for me. Another story is, that I own one of the rare Japanese-Maxi-CD's. As difficult as it was to get it, I am really proud to have it today - but not compareable to the "Black in Mind" Backdrop, which is of course my highlight now. Since I'm in a band myself, the backdrop got a special place in our rehearsal-room. Everyone who's interested in our music can check out our homepage.
