On Tuesday, the 20th of January 2009, RAGE will again be guest at Stefan Raab's "tv total" show on Pro7 channel, promoting their performance at the "Bundes Vision Song Contest". There, RAGE will start for NRW province on Friday, the 13th of Februar 2009 with their new song "NEVER GIVE UP" of their new EP, which will be available on 16th of January 2009 already! On 12th/13th of Sptember 2008, Victor Smolski is again going to take part at another car race mastership on the legendary Nürburgring, supported by his racing team. After 2 victories at the longdistance championship during the last season and an incredible 3rd position in his class at the biggest and most dangerous race event world wide, the "24h race" 2008 on the Nürburgring, another great position can be expected. All guests are welcome to visit Victor in box 16 in the driver's camp, or watching his white BMW M3 E30 with the number 35 somewhere on the circuit, enjoying the party in the Eifel area. You're also welcome to have a party with RAGE after the end of the race. During the first two weeks of September, you can book exclusive drum lessons with André Hilgers at the Unity Music School. Lesson’s subjects are going to be basics in rhythm and techniques, practical know-how as well as set up of drum kit etc. Get your chance to profit by André’s professional drummer’s career and be able to discuss special subjects as well as individual questions during the 1 by 1 lessons. The lessons will take place in Ottbergen/Höxter on Mon til Thu, during 1st till 4th September 2008, and furthermore from 8th till 11th September2008.

11.04.2008Florence show cancelled - Visa stress for the FreaKozaks |

The italian organizer has cancelled the Florence show because of the Uefa Cup football match of the AC Florence against the PSV Eindhoven. He wasn't awaiting any box office, he meant, the gig does not pay. We are sorry for the fans in Florence, who were looking forward to the show as we did. Due to visa problems, our Russian support band FreaKozaks have to leave us already after the show in Budapest. We are going to displace them by topp-class band at parts of our German gigs: in Hannover and Bad Salzungen "Seventh Avenue" will join us, in Ludwigsburg, Memmingen, Speyer and Andernach we can present you the "Dezperadoz" of Alex Kraft. |

A new, exclusive recorded orchestra version of the songs "Lord Of The Flies", the most outstanding song of the new RAGE CD "Carved In Stone", will highlight the fulminant computer game "Windchaser", which will be available in May 2008. The song is now featuring a bombastic arrangement and a great number of top-class guest musicians. With an well rehearsed, classic team, the Lingua Mortis Orcherstra from Minsk, to which you could already listen to at the "Speak Of The Dead" album, and which supported RAGE at sundry gigs, this special orchestra version of "Lord Of The Flies" sounds like be played by a 50 members strong rockband with classic instruments! In January 2008, the recordings took place at the "Inspector-studio" in Minsk (Belarus), homeland of Victor Smolski, who signed responsible for arrangement and mix also. |

RAGE will be present at the Frankfurt music fair 2008 a couple of times. On Friday, the 14th of March, there will be a autograph session on Nuclear Blast booth E41, hall 4.2 at 3 p.m. On Saturday, the 15th of March, RAGE will perform live at the Agora stage, hall 3 at 10.30 a.m., afterwards there's a autograph session at the ENGL booth. On Saturday, the 15th of March, there's another autograph session at the "Gitarre & Bass" magazine booth E62, hall 4.0 at 3 p.m. By the way, at the March issue of the "Gitarre & Bass" magazine, which will be available on 22nd of February 2008, there will be a comprehensive guitar workshop of Victor Smolski. |
